At the beginning, an initial consultation with your Ayurvedic doctor is conducted, in which your dosha type is determined and your individual treatment plan is created. This can be adjusted again and again in the course of the therapy. In it, it is determined how exactly your chosen Ayurveda program will proceed.
Ayurveda therapy programs usually include daily treatments such as oil massages, forehead oil pours or herbal treatments, which are carried out by professional Ayurvedic therapists. Yoga and meditation round out this diverse offering and smooth the waters of your mind.
Finally, there is usually a final talk with your Ayurveda doctor, in which you are sometimes given helpful tips on how you can benefit from the results of the therapy for as long as possible.
Of course, an important part of your therapy is the food. Get to know Ayurvedic cuisine with an ayurvedic breakfast, lunch and dinner and detoxify your body by eating healthy from the inside.
In Asia the therapy in the Ayurveda center is traditionally offered only with full board. From morning to evening you can enjoy there the traditional dishes with your stunning spices and the wonderful fruits. In European Ayurvedic centers sometimes also the possibility is offered to book the stay only with breakfast or with half board, but this is then usually not Ayurvedic. Please pay close attention to the descriptions.
Ayurvedic, or Dosha-appropriate cuisine is listed separately in the program description. If this is not explicitly mentioned, you will receive the normal hotel cuisine, which, of course, must be no less delicious.
