Basu hails from Denmark and discovered Yoga in Greece many years ago. This marked the beginning of a wonderful journey into the depths of Yoga, meditation, Eastern philosophy, and mysticism. He has spent many years learning and teaching in India and Thailand. Basu's Yoga sessions consist of a blend of Hatha Yoga, meditation, and deep relaxation.
Jorgos Pappas is from Greece. After various academic positions in universities in England and Germany, he secured a position as a Mathematics professor at the age of thirty. Following an inner calling, he left his promising academic career. This was followed by ten years of global exploration, during which he met various Qi Gong and meditation masters. He has been living and teaching according to his teachings on Mount Pelion in Greece for many years.
Lina Kasviki-Pappas worked as a teacher for several years after her engineering studies. She has completed training in Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga in India and Thailand. She teaches Qigong, Greek folk dance, and shares her knowledge of the medicinal herbs of Pelion with guests in a humorous way.

The Iliohoos Seminar House - the school of simple living - is located in the idyllic fishing village of Kalamos on the Greek Mount Pelion. The small villages with their typical stone houses, the taverns, the colourful and fertile vegetation, and the clear waters of the bays leave a lasting impression. It's no wonder that the twelve Greek gods once held their summer residence here.
The main building at the Aktaion Hotel is situated directly by the sea and features ten rooms with shower/WC, refrigerator, terrace or balcony (air conditioning available for a fee of €5 per day), a tavern, and a seminar room. Additional accommodation is provided in spacious apartments (each with shower/WC, kitchenette, terrace or balcony), located one to three minutes' walk from the main building.
Practices take place on two wooden platforms amidst an olive grove, in the seminar room, or on the terrace, all a 5-minute walk from the restaurant/main building.
