Day 1: Bangalore
Welcome at Bangalore Airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, explore Bangalore, India's third-largest metropolis: marvel at the impressive Vidhana Soudha building, visit the ancient Bull Temple (Nandi Temple), Tipu Palace, and the botanical gardens at Lal Bagh. Overnight in Bangalore.

Day 2: Mysore
Travel to Mysore, the enchanting garden city. In the evening, explore various interesting markets and bazaars. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 3: Mysore
Today, visit Shrirangapattana, a small town near Mysore of great historical significance. Attractions include the fortress, temple, mausoleum, and other historical buildings, some in ruins and some well-preserved. Also, visit the Amba Vilas Palace in Mysore, the Maharaja Museum, and in the evening, the Hindu Chamundi Temple. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 4: Kabini
Travel to Kabini, a highlight for nature enthusiasts. In the afternoon, embark on a Jeep Safari through Nagarhole National Park (subject to availability). Together with neighbouring national parks, Nagarhole forms the largest wildlife sanctuary in Southern India, home to elephants, tigers, leopards, deer, and monkeys. Overnight in Kabini/Nagarhole.

Day 5: Kabini
Another highlight of the national park is a boat safari on the Kabini River (subject to availability), where various species can be observed. Overnight in Kabini/Nagarhole.

Day 6: Ooty
Travel to Udagamandalam (shortly Ooty). This hill station in the Western Ghats was developed agriculturally by the British in the early 19th century and became a popular resort due to its pleasant climate. Overnight in Ooty.

Day 7: Ooty
Today, explore the city's attractions, such as the Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, and Doddabetta Peak. Overnight in Ooty.

Day 8: Mettupalayam/Coimbatore
Another highlight is the train journey with the Nilgiri Mountain Railway from Ooty to Mettupalayam. The impressive route crosses bridges, tunnels, and vast tea plantations with breathtaking mountain views. From Mettupalayam, drive to Coimbatore. Overnight in Coimbatore.

Day 9: Cochin
Travel to Cochin. Upon arrival in this historically significant port city, enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance in the evening. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 10: Cochin
Discover the sights of Cochin, such as St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, and the impressive Chinese fishing nets. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 11: Alleppey
Travel to Alleppey (Alapphuza). On the houseboat journey through Kerala's famous backwaters, lush banks, typical Keralan villages, and fascinating wildlife pass you by. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 12: Kovalam
After a relaxed breakfast on board, travel to Kovalam. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 13: Kovalam
The day is at your leisure to relax on the beach or undertake your own activities. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 14: Departure
After a journey full of experiences through South India, you will be taken to Trivandrum Airport.
