Bad Pyrmont excels with consolidated health expertise across various medical fields, utilising its valuable natural remedies.
The Healthy Seven The springs emerge in the Valley of Springs and are administered directly at the springs, in the therapy centres, and in the promenade hall. In Bad Pyrmont, there is the rarity of two different types of medicinal water: the brine-containing sodium chloride acidulous waters and the calcium- and magnesium-rich hydrogencarbonate acidulous waters. Indications for the drinking therapy depending on the spring: diseases of the digestive organs, urological diseases, deficiencies of iron and calcium.
Brine Brine baths have a calming effect on the autonomic nervous system. Brine movement baths allow for intensive muscle and cardiovascular training due to increased buoyancy. Movements in brine water specifically relieve joints and the back.
Moor The therapeutic moor allows for very high application temperatures over an extended period while being well tolerated. At temperatures of 41 to 46 °C, an optimal therapeutic effect is achieved. A therapy with natural moor leads to improved joint mobility, muscle relaxation, and enhanced circulation throughout the body.
CO2 spring gas and the steam cave The steam cave is a unique natural phenomenon. CO2 spring gas invisibly flows from a rock fissure at the Helvetius Hill to the surface. The carbon dioxide degasses from a magma chamber at a depth of 4,000 m and is the driving force for all of Bad Pyrmont's medicinal springs. CO2 brings these medicinal waters to the surface. Central and peripheral vessels are better circulated, and the cardiovascular system is relieved.

We feel very relaxed and decelerated. Bad Pyrmont is nice and quiet and the people are incredibly friendly. It has something of the splendor of times gone by. People seem to have more time here. The surrounding area is also very scenic.
