The Silent Garden Ayurveda Health Resort, managed under German-speaking leadership, captivates with its special location amidst greenery, a true paradise for nature lovers. The generous and open design of the resort and the Ayurveda Center create a special atmosphere and a sense of freedom.
The privately managed Silent Garden Ayurveda Health Resort, under German leadership, is located in the midst of the jungle surrounded by lush flora and fauna, creating a place of tranquility away from hustle and bustle. Rejuvenate with an Ayurveda therapy, find your inner balance, and realign your three doshas.
On the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, about 62 miles south of Colombo, lies the fishing village of Beruwela in an idyllic, sweeping bay. Beruwela is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Sri Lanka.
With a view of the greenery, enjoy the freshly prepared Ayurveda buffet in the open restaurant. All dishes are made predominantly from regional ingredients and are prepared according to dosha. Fruits and vegetables are partly from our own cultivation. Travel companions can dine à la carte if desired.
The Ayurveda doctor (on call) and several therapists take care of your well-being at the Ayurveda Center. Spaciously designed across three floors with 8 open treatment rooms and views of nature, you can enjoy a high level of comfort and privacy. Furthermore, the resort features relaxation zones, an Ayurveda pharmacy, and a yoga hall for meditation and yoga. Acupuncture can be booked on-site for a fee. Acupuncture on-site is approximately €20 (£17 / $21) per 30 minutes per day.
The outdoor pool with massage jets and loungers offers a great opportunity to relax and find yourself during your therapy-free time. If you wish to be more active during your free time, take walks in nature or excursions to nearby attractions. For example, the Brief Garden, a park-like landscape with an art collection (about 1.2 miles away) and the Kande Viharaya Temple (about 3.7 miles away) with the tallest sitting Buddha in Sri Lanka (about 183 feet high) are worth a visit. The Silent Garden team is happy to help with the organization. Swimming opportunities are available at Bentota Beach, about 3.7 miles away.
12 rooms in traditional Sinhalese style featuring extensive wood elements, with terrace or balcony, shower/WC, fan, air conditioning, Wi-Fi. This includes 4 standard rooms (approx. 36 sqm) and 8 more spacious deluxe rooms (approx. 40 sqm). SGL are DBL for single use.

We feel incredibly relaxed after these 2 weeks of Ayurveda retreat. The Silent Garden is a small resort with just a few rooms. But that's what makes it so intimate.

Very nice, quiet and well-kept facility. Everything is well organized. The staff are very nice and helpful and want you to feel comfortable as a guest. You are looked after by a doctor. The therapists are well trained and very empathetic. The food was always fresh and tasted excellent.

I have decided to take my first 14-day Ayurveda Pachakarma retreat. I am often in Sri Lanka and have heard a lot about Ayurveda treatment. At the beginning of this year, I decided to book your treatment at short notice. The facility is very clean, the staff as you know it from Sri Lanka, very friendly and courteous. The food every day was my biggest concern, but I have to say that I have rarely eaten so well in Sri Lanka (big thanks to the kitchen). I had no comparison with the treatments because, as I said, I have never done an Ayurveda retreat before. Here too, the treatments were very soothing and relaxing, as other healing therapies guests have told me and I can only confirm. The doctor took a lot of time for the consultation and was always available. All in all, I was very satisfied. The resort is a bit far from the beach, but it's a great place to be. Many thanks to everyone.
