Six sources are available for bathing and drinking therapies. They all contain a high concentration of mineral salts, iron, carbon dioxide, and uniquely - radon, which is available in only a few places in Europe. The treatment with noble gas radon, the natural remedy of the Bad Brambach springs, is of particular importance due to its high efficacy.
The natural radon-carbon dioxide-mineral healing water from Bad Brambach has an analgesic effect. The carbon dioxide ensures a rapid transport of radon to the sites of pain. This stimulates the immune system and promotes self-healing.
Indications: Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, as well as heart, vascular, and circulatory diseases.
The radon therapy treatments are available at the Therapy Center of the Saxon State Spas, which is easily accessible via a bathrobe corridor.
To get acquainted with radon, it is necessary to obtain a certificate of no objection from your general practitioner. The necessary form for this can be downloaded or provided with the documents.
Besides walks in the historic therapy park, the forest-rich surroundings invite you to hiking and cycling tours, for example, to the lookout tower on the 759m high Kapellenberg. It was my second leisure travel in a Santé Royale hotel. I enjoyed it very much. The welcome was very friendly and you could always ask the reception with questions and concerns. The room was small but very clean and tidy. It was enough for me. This time there was also no confusion about "all inclusive", everything was fine. The unlimited access to chilled AFG was also pleasant. There was nothing wrong with the food. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The hot food for dinner was always tasty, as far as I can tell, as I always chose the fish from the four dishes. I still find it remarkable that only soup and small snacks are served for lunch as part of the "all inclusive", which is not full board. But be that as it may: no problem for me. The number of treatments was slightly larger than in Wolkenstein. I enjoyed them all very much, just like the use of the thermal baths and saunas and the shuttle to Bad Elster. I was a little disappointed that there was no opportunity to try out the healing effects of the radon spring without a medical certificate. There are certainly medical reasons for this, but I should have known in advance so that I could have had such a certificate issued. However, the other sources were also very good. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and I recovered well. Unfortunately too short.
