A buffet and an à la carte restaurant. Half board includes a lavish breakfast buffet and dinner as a set menu with starters and desserts buffet, while the main course is served at the table. Bar, lounge, and library are also available.

Friederiken Spa

A robe walkway connects the hotel to the Friederiken Spa, featuring sulphur and brine waters. Indoor and outdoor pools with 3% brine, a spring pool with 5% brine water, cascade pool, and therapy pool.
Expansive sauna area with rose sauna (65°C), Hainich sauna (80°C), steam bath, infrared cabin (45°C) indoors, and an earth sauna (110°C) and panorama sauna (90°C) in the sauna garden. For refreshment afterwards, there's a plunge pool, a sensorial shower world, and foot baths. For relaxation, enjoy the whirlpool, rest rooms with spa loungers and water beds, and the open-air wall to the sauna garden. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It was a very good break from everyday life. The hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. The food tasted great and was varied and sufficient. One small drawback for us was the mattresses, which were far too hard. But that is a matter of opinion. We would recommend the hotel at any time and will visit again ourselves.
