"Raga" describes a sequence of tones ("Svara") that gives melodies a unique colour - symbolic of the journey, consisting of many individual steps, to oneself. The focus is on well-being and the balance between body, soul, and spirit. The soothing atmosphere and holistic Ayurvedic treatments support you in coming back into harmony with nature and yourself. Traditional approaches and modern systems merge, offering guests not only relaxation but also teaching them how to master the challenges of everyday life while continuing to dedicate themselves to their health.
You have the choice of dining in the fresh air or stylishly in the on-site restaurant "Samskara". The kitchen team serves you tasty dosha-appropriate vegetarian dishes and "Super Foods" as a menu, offering an exciting combination of traditional and modern cuisine. Great importance is placed on healthy and vegetarian nutrition. The seasonal ingredients are mostly from the hotel's own vegetable and herb garden. Alcohol is not served in accordance with Ayurvedic teachings.
The "Prakriti" Ayurveda Center is located in the southern part of the complex. A unique feature is that Raga Svara is one of the few retreats that also houses a university. This facilitates collaboration with 45 Ayurveda doctors who can precisely support the optimal alignment of your treatment. Additionally, there are always 2 Ayurveda doctors on-site, providing individual attention to each guest with experienced therapists. Authentic Ayurveda treatments are conducted in 8 treatment rooms. There are also two steam cabins. The focus of your Ayurveda therapy can be chosen before arrival but can also be adjusted by the Ayurveda doctor during the initial consultation if needed, and a personalized treatment plan is created. Upon departure, you will receive valuable tips that you can integrate into your daily life after your therapy.
On the premises is the "Antara" Center for Yoga accompanying therapy with experienced yoga instructors and the "Bodhi" Meditation Center. Here, in addition to Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative (similar to Yin, less intense) Yoga, Pranayama breathing exercises, Pratyahara, Mantra, and Dhyana meditations are also offered. All sessions are suitable for advanced practitioners and beginners alike.
Raga Svara places a high emphasis on ecological well-being. Construction techniques that reduce the amount of building materials used have been employed, and a well-thought-out energy management system ensures careful use of resources such as light and electricity. The hotel's organic garden is free from pesticides, and special techniques are applied to regenerate the soils. Moreover, only native grain varieties such as black and brown rice, millet, rice berries, etc., are planted, which are beneficial for the health of the soils and are also more nutrient-rich. Plastic is avoided altogether, waste is minimized and disposed of responsibly, rainwater is collected and reused through an appropriate water management system. The initiative, the Raga Svara Habitat Collective, creates an environment where measures to preserve the environment are regularly discussed.
