Location & Surroundings

Franzensbad (Františkovy Lázně) is located in the western foothills of Bohemia, near the city of Cheb. An idyllic small town meets picturesque nature and centuries-old healing springs. Extensive spa parks and a tranquil atmosphere provide the perfect foundation for a successful treatment and relaxation.

Dining & Leisure

Modern dining room, breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menu choices. Also diet, diabetic, slimming, separation, or gentle food as well as vegetarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free dishes. Internet corner. Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. New café in the hotel lobby and a barbecue area in the garden.

Wellness & Spa

Indoor pool (7 a.m. - 9 p.m., 15 x 7.5 m, approx. 28-30°C), heated outdoor saltwater pool (approx. 5 x 10 m, approx. 29°C). Sauna, infrared sauna, and steam bath (approx. €11/2 hours). Relaxation treatments.

Health & Treatments

Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with guaranteed access to the natural healing springs of Franzensbad, such as mineral water with high CO2 content, sulphur and iron-rich peat, natural CO2 gas, 24-hour nursing service, on-site doctors, and medical standby. Treatments include natural remedies such as mineral carbon baths, sulphur-iron peat packs, natural gas injections. Physiotherapy, vertebral and alternating step baths, water and rehabilitation gymnastics, electro-, magnet-, ultrasound therapies, gas wraps, massages, inhalations, device-assisted lymph drainage, paraffin packs, biolamp. Additional charges apply for manual lymph drainage, taping, laser, Indian head, hot stone, aroma, and reflexology massages, slimming, anti-cellulite packs. Oxygen and partial cryotherapy. Indications: Diseases of the heart and circulatory system (including prevention), musculoskeletal system, spine, revitalisation after oncological treatment. Detailed cost breakdown of chargeable treatments (healing therapy, vital, relax) available at the hotel.
Beauty: Hairdresser, cosmetics, manicure, and pedicure (Monday to Friday).

Vital cure with 2 treatments daily. Everything perfect by qualified physiotherapists. Since we had an apartment, the relaxation and recovery effect was also correspondingly good. General ambience in the house very good.
