An idyllic resort with a retreat feel, nestled on a captivating golden sandy beach. It features a spacious Ayurveda Center tailored for personalised treatments, organic meals, and homemade herbal medicine. Seniors enjoy special benefits.
Linta's Golden Beach Resort, constructed in the traditional South Indian style, is nestled within a palm grove right on the golden sandy beach. Within the resort, three lush tropical gardens invite you for a stroll. The blend of Indian tradition and Western lifestyle endows the resort with its unique charm.
Located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in the south of Kerala, Puthenthope is a former Christian fishing village. Surrounded by coconut palms and close to the beach, it is the perfect place for those seeking to escape the stresses of everyday life.
Indulge in Ayurvedic Indian dishes featuring vegetables predominantly sourced from our own organic garden. Non-alcoholic beverages, tea, and coffee are included with meals. Ayurveda guests enjoy three-course lunches and dinners suitable for all Dosha types (Tridosha), with one dish tailored to specific Doshas. Food intolerances are considered when composing the menu. Alcohol is not served. Freshly caught fish or chicken is available upon request (at an additional cost).
Spanning approximately 100 sqm, the Ayur Diamond certified Ayurveda Center features a consultation room, three treatment rooms, and an Ayurveda pharmacy. All treatments are meticulously overseen by Ayurveda physician Dr. Linta (available daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., see CV below) and conducted by an experienced team of therapists. A variety of therapy programs are available, such as Anti-Stress, Anti-Aging, Slimming, and Beauty. Herbs for Ayurvedic medicine are grown in the resort's own herbal garden and are carefully monitored by the Ayurveda physician. Dr. Linta specialises in skin diseases. Daily yoga sessions with Indian instructors enhance the Ayurveda therapy experience. Private yoga sessions can be booked on-site (approx. €5 (approx. UK £4 / USD $6) per person per hour). Travel companions also have the opportunity to book individual Ayurveda treatments on-site.
The resort features an outdoor pool with sun loungers amidst exotic vegetation. A variety of excursions to nearby attractions such as Kovalam, Trivandrum, or the Backwaters are organized by the hotel and concierge service for an additional charge.
A total of 14 individually decorated rooms, each furnished with hand-picked antiques. In the main building, there are 4 rooms facing the sea and 4 facing the garden, each with either a balcony or terrace, plus 2 additional garden-facing rooms without a balcony. Sea-facing rooms offer views into the garden, which may be partially obscured by vegetation. In the annex above the Ayurveda Center, there are 4 cottage rooms with a shared balcony and soothing garden views, mostly wooden and styled in the Keralan manner. 1 new Deluxe Cottage, constructed in Keralan style from wood, is located above the treatment area, is very bright, and overlooks the garden. The construction of the cottages differs from that of the main building, making them slightly less soundproof. Safe available at reception.

I am very happy with my choice... great place, very familiar, friendly, manageable, great garden, good food and a competent doctor. The treatment gave me the recovery I was hoping for. I would go there again.
