Your Hotel

Your spa hotel is located in the midst of an extensive nature reserve on the outskirts of Strunjan. Spa Hotel Svoboda**** is fully air-conditioned from about June to September, depending on the weather.

Location & Surroundings

The climatic health resort of Strunjan is located in a protected bay, surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean plants. The salt pans on the beach are the basis for the healing factors of Strunjan. Here, the mother liquor as well as the sea and salt mud are harvested.

Dining & Leisure

Buffet, half board as lunch or dinner by pre-registration. Diet meals (on medical prescription) as part of the full board. Vegetarian options, Montignac diet, fish menus (for a fee). Café.

Wellness & Spa

Vitarium Spa & Thalasso Center (daily) with beauty treatments, massages, wraps, seawater baths, and special treatments like saline massage, mud wrap, salt scrub. Indoor seawater pool (approx. 32°C). Whirlpools, small outdoor seawater pool (26-28°C, approx. April-October), fitness and gymnastics room. For a fee: sauna area (supplement from approx. €12/day) with 5 saunas.

Health & Treatments

Hotel's own therapy department (Mon.-Sat.). Physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, respiratory therapy, kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy. Underwater and classic massages, saline peloid mud packs from purified and pre-warmed sea mud, inhalations. Modern diagnostic center.

Bicycle rental. Seasonal sun umbrellas and beach loungers, Nordic walking, 5 clay tennis courts. Twice weekly music and dance programme, almost daily in summer. The coastal towns of Piran or Portoroz are worth a visit.

We had a good rest. The location of the hotel is very beautiful embedded in the surrounding nature. The beach (no sand, that does not exist on this coast) or the bathing area is in the immediate vicinity. The ambience: It is a hotel with mostly healing therapies, which come because they have some ailment. It is good for that.

It was a very relaxing time.
