Your Wellness Resort

Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa, located on the "quiet side" in the south of the island at Laem Set Beach, about a 30-minute drive to Chaweng. It is built around a natural rock cave that has been a place of meditation for Buddhist monks for centuries. This special atmosphere is felt throughout the resort and provides the perfect conditions to escape the hectic everyday life, recuperate, and find oneself.

Location & Surroundings

Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand is the country's second largest island. The popular holiday destination offers diving, golf, hiking, waterfalls, beautiful beaches, temples, and much more. Rainy season is approximately mid-October to mid-December.

Dining & Leisure

In the Soma Restaurant and throughout the resort, all dishes are mainly prepared with organic ingredients. Thai and Western, varied and healthy gourmet cuisine, also vegetarian, vegan, lactose- or gluten-free, as well as alkaline detox dishes. Rich breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner à la carte. Communication table. Amrita Café with lunch and snacks, Alchemy Tea Lounge with smoothies, coffee/tea specialties, juices, and desserts.

Wellness Sanctuary (daily 8 a.m.-8 p.m., from age 16): Comprehensive health programmes focusing on detox, anti-stress/burn-out, healthy sleep, and optimal fitness. A balanced mix of fitness for regeneration combined with healthy eating and treatments in traditional Chinese medicine, naturopathy, and Ayurveda enhances life quality through a healthier lifestyle. Health consultations and diagnostics (e.g., bio-impedance analysis, laboratory tests, medical tests) and discussions about lifestyle and dietary habits. Acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and herbal medicine. Various massages, Reiki, and craniosacral therapy. Herbal steam baths, infrared saunas, and plunge pools from cold to warm. NEW: Longevity House (ozone and oxygen therapy, IV therapies, cancer screening, and more), medical manicure/pedicure. Year-round access to experienced guest therapists and international healers. Licensed as a multidisciplinary wellness clinic.

Fitness & Courses

Yoga Pavilion, Yantra Hall, and state-of-the-art Shakti Fitness Centre with a stunning sea view at the highest point of the facility. Padma Fitness and Pilates Studio. Personal trainers, private yoga sessions available for an additional charge.

A diverse programme of classes including yoga for beginners and advanced practitioners, such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, Pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, Pilates, Tai Chi, and more (subject to availability, about 3-4 group classes daily).

Pool Area

2 outdoor pools near the gently sloping sandy beach. At the highest point of the facility, a 25m outdoor pool with a breathtaking panoramic sea view.
