Ideal after your stay at the Dead Sea.
Day 1: Departure in the morning from the Dead Sea to Wadi Rum - Encounter with the Desert. "Vast, solitary, and god-like" is how T. E. Lawrence described Wadi Rum, Jordan's largest and most magnificent desert landscape. During a Bedouin Jeep Tour (approx. 1.5-2 hours) through the rugged landscape, experience the pristine nature and expansiveness of the desert at the original locations of "Lawrence of Arabia" – a desert adventure of a special kind. Then continue to Petra, 2 nights at Petra Guesthouse (4 stars) or Mövenpick Resort Petra (5 stars).
Day 2: Full-day excursion "Rose-Red Petra". Discover the 2,000-year-old red rock city of Petra, Jordan's most impressive cultural monument, often referred to as the "eighth wonder of the world". The city, nestled in a mountain basin, is only accessible through a narrow, approximately 1.5 km long gorge with cliffs up to 200 m high, known as "Siq". Ride a horse to this gorge. At the end of the gorge, which you will walk through, experience an unforgettable view of the Treasury "El Khaznet", the landmark of Petra. However, this is just the beginning of Petra's attractions. On various hiking and climbing tours, visitors can literally see hundreds of buildings, facades, tombs, baths, as well as mysterious rock drawings and reliefs. These sights are most beautiful in the early morning and late afternoon when the sun warms the colourful stones of the buildings, bathing them in a rose-red light.
Day 3: Transfer to Amman Airport.
