The Hunguest Hotel Helios boasts a freshly renovated, minimalist design and is idyllically situated in a 45,000 sqm park. Location & Surroundings
Hévíz is located in the west of Hungary, just about 5 miles from the picturesque Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe. This charming spa town is nestled in a gently rolling landscape, surrounded by lush forests and vineyards. Hévíz is renowned for its unique thermal lake, the largest in the world, whose healing waters and mud baths have been attracting visitors for centuries. The tranquil surroundings of Hévíz offer ideal conditions for relaxation and rejuvenation. The town itself enchants with its charming architecture, cosy cafes, and traditional Hungarian restaurants. Dining & Leisure
The hotel restaurant serves both Hungarian and international specialties (breakfast and dinner buffet). On request, special dishes are available for guests with food intolerances, as well as vegetarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free options. For further entertainment, the lobby bar features live music several times a week.
Wellness & Spa
The adventure pool with an outdoor swimming area (34–36°C) is open all year round. The renovated adventure pool in the park features a neck shower, bubble bed, and back massages (seasonal, expected to reopen in Spring 2025). Enjoy a bath in the thermal pool, fed by the hotel's own thermal spring. For our younger guests, there is a renovated children's pool (34°C), which allows for carefree splashing.
Unlimited wellness experiences await you at the renovated Hunguest Hotel Helios. Wellness Centre: steam bath, Finnish sauna, Russian sauna, aromatherapy, infrared sauna, whirlpool, salt chamber.

therapy area
The therapy area is open from Monday to Friday. The doctor visits the hotel. The following treatments are offered, for example: balneotherapy, electrotherapy, weight and traction bath, therapeutic massage, physiotherapy, mud pack, water aerobics, and prevention programs.
Indications include, for example: musculoskeletal disorders, disc disorders, rheumatic diseases, osteoporosis, degenerative diseases of the spine and joints, post-treatment of injuries, surgeries of the musculoskeletal system, soft tissue rheumatism, secondary joint diseases, chronic peripheral complaints related to the nervous system due to mechanical reasons, and many more.
Thermal water
The thermal water in Hévíz is particularly beneficial due to its unique mineral composition and thermal properties. The water contains a variety of minerals such as sulphur, calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate, which are proven to have health-promoting properties. These minerals can help alleviate joint pain, enhance mobility, and reduce inflammation. The hotel offers a total of 150 double rooms, 6 family rooms, and 6 suites. In Building A, the double rooms come with a balcony. These rooms cover an area of 20 sqm and face either east or west. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower cabin and toilet. The bed size is two times 90 x 200 cm. The rooms feature adjustable air conditioning, an LED TV, a telephone, a hairdryer, a safe, a minibar, and Wi-Fi. Rooms accessible for disabled guests are also available. Single rooms are double rooms for single use. An elevator is available.
