Abano Terme is just about 60 kilometres from Venice and is the most significant spa town for mud therapy in Europe, located at the Euganean Hills. These hills are of volcanic origin and boast unique thermal springs. The healing water from these springs is primarily used for the famous mud treatments, as well as for soothing thermal baths in Abano. Its reputation and centuries of success are due to its therapies, with mud therapy being the most significant. The spa's healing water naturally reaches temperatures up to 84.5 degrees and is exceptionally rich in salt, iodine, and bromine.
