Marienbad - world-famous like many of its guests - from Franz Kafka to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe to Emperor Franz Joseph. This traditional spa town in a mild, south-facing valley was founded in 1818 by Karl Kaspar Reitenberger, the abbot of the Tepla Abbey, and is rich in mineral springs, natural gases, and peat. The clean air, abundant forests, and pleasant altitude create optimal conditions for a therapy and relaxation stay.

BEAUTY (open daily) offers soothing massages, refreshing beauty treatments, baths, and therapeutic treatments – all tailored for you. Health & Treatments

(Daily 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) with medical supervision. Classic therapy services: dry CO2 bath, oxygen therapy, whirlpool bath, Lymfoven, mud pack, massages, electro- and physiotherapy, peat and mineral bath, lymphatic drainage, connective tissue massage, magnetic field therapy, gas injection, inhalation, ultrasound, shortwave diathermy, Lavatherm, aqua-, spinal- and ball gymnastics. Drinking therapy with the hotel's own medicinal spring Alexandra. Additional charges apply for: Aslan therapy, body wraps on the floating bed. Weekly health courses (some at an additional cost).

Natural Marienbad Remedies:

Mineral Water - In the town of Marienbad, 40 different mineral water springs emerge, with 100 more in the immediate vicinity. These are cold acidulous waters with temperatures between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius. The occurrence of such a high number of springs with different compositions and various therapeutic effects is a balneological rarity. As natural remedies, these springs are state-protected and monitored. Applications: mineral baths, inhalation, drinking therapy.

Peat - The natural peat from the region is rich in minerals and is used in the form of packs or peat baths - often as an ideal preparation for massages. Thanks to its long-lasting warmth, the peat has a soothing and healing effect on tension, inflammation, and strain. Applications: natural peat pack partial or full body, optional with colloidal silver, mud, Lavatherm, peat bath- optional with colloidal silver.

Carbon Dioxide Healing Gas - In addition to the variety of water sources, Marienbad also has a dry source. It is a strong gas effusion that dissolves secondarily in surface water and is named Maria Spring. The CO2 gas from Maria Spring is of volcanic origin and 99.47% pure. It is used for special dry baths and injections. These cause vasodilation, stimulating circulation, lowering blood pressure, and activating metabolism. Applications: dry CO2 bath, subcutaneous CO2 injections, Pneumopuncture - a combination of CO2 injection and therapeutic massage.

Arrive and feel at home, that was the first impression. Reception, room, food, staff, treatments, cleanliness all at a very high level. We can't understand the sometimes bad reviews, there's nothing to complain about here .... except that you don't want to leave 😊. We wanted a break with friends to relax and unwind, and we weren't disappointed. The center of Mariánské Lázně with its long park was also within easy reach for wonderful walks. Conclusion: anytime again
