The Falkensteiner Hotel Antholz is a beautiful hotel with potential for improvement. We had specifically booked a renovated room! However, the room we were allocated was disappointing. Only the floor was new. Furniture etc. at best "softly renovated". The bathroom no longer met the modern criteria of a walk-in shower. The desk was covered with wreaths of bottles, partially swollen and made a rather run-down impression. However, we were then given a renovated room. The wellness area is large, but also getting on in years. The pool water is very warm. Unfortunately the outdoor pool only opened at 12 noon. The staff, breakfast and dinner are top! All in all, the hotel can be recommended if you get a fully renovated room.
