The Esplanade Annex (opening in May 2025), originally named Hotel Holzer, is centrally located in Franzensbad, in a stunning position directly opposite the City Theatre, next to the therapy park. The charming spa town of Františkovy Lázně (Franzensbad) is located in the Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad) region, in the Cheb district at an elevation of 442 meters above sea level. It is part of the renowned "West Bohemian Spa Triangle" and has preserved its spa town character from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. All paths lead through well-maintained parks, creating a tranquil and cosy atmosphere. Due to its favourable location near the border, Františkovy Lázně (Franzensbad) is also a highly attractive tourist destination.

The healing properties of the Franzensbad springs have been known since the 15th century. The town was founded in 1793 by Emperor Franz I as the world's first peat spa. The spring water was not only popular among locals but was also sold throughout Germany. It is historically documented that in 1700, more Franzensbad water was sold in Germany than all other German spa towns combined could supply at that time.

In Františkovy Lázně, heart and circulatory diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, and gynaecological diseases, including infertility, are treated. Treatments with natural springs include peat baths, peat packs, carbonic acid baths, gas injections, and CO2 dry baths.
