The hotel is managed according to the Western theory of elements, as the four elements of earth, fire, water, and air are the origin of all existence, the beginning of all life, and a symbol of health and joy. The Balance has been built into the architecture, design, nutrition, wellness treatments, and lifestyle based on this philosophy. Each of the four elements is dedicated to colour, shape, material, and taste according to traditional European medicine. Lake Wörthersee, known for its crystal-clear water, offers numerous water sports opportunities and invites you to swim, sail, or stand-up paddle. Be enchanted by the culinary delights at Balance. The cuisine has been awarded multiple times by Gault Millau, À la Carte, and Falstaff, and was among the best in the country in 2020. At the restaurant "la balance", hostess and "freshly cooked" TV chef Andrea Grossmann creates culinary experiences with great finesse. The hotel prioritises high-quality food from the surrounding region and sustainable ingredients. Lake Wörthersee provides excellent fish, and the meat and vegetables often come from the family-owned farms. The hotel is happy to accommodate any food intolerances. In the 3000 sqm Elements SPA & Wellness area, experience the four elements up close and feel their revitalising effects. The wellness area is equipped with indoor and outdoor pools, a saltwater pool, and a cold water pool. Additionally, you will find new relaxation rooms, 8 different saunas (e.g., herbal sauna/Celtic herbal bath, Roman stone sauna, adventure garden sauna), and a mineral earth steam bath, including an outdoor wellness zone with an event outdoor sauna with guided infusions and a snow grotto, two private SPAs, and a sunlit fitness area. The 23-meter long swimming pool is nearly Olympic-sized and is complemented by cosy lounging areas indoors and outdoors. A whirlpool overlooking the nearby Lake Wörthersee crowns the bathing experience. The hotel also offers a fitness room with new cardio equipment and a breathtaking view of Lake Wörthersee.

Various local woods for the furniture, specially woven carpets, and decorations highlight the four elements. The hotel offers a special service in all rooms and suites: you can choose from three different pillows, a cosy bathrobe and sauna towels await you in the room, and on the day of arrival and departure, you can use the 3000 sqm Elements SPA for an additional charge earlier (on arrival) or longer (on departure). Additionally, you can enjoy a late breakfast until 1 p.m.
