Your Spa Hotel
The ASTORIA Hotel & Medical Spa, comprising five interconnected buildings, is situated directly on the Teplá River, just a two-minute walk from the hot springs of the Mühlbrunn Colonnade. The sister hotel, Art Deco Wolker, features 38 rooms and suites. Meals and treatments are provided at the Astoria, approximately 300 metres away.
Location & Surroundings
Located in the heart of Karlovy Vary, in a prime location directly next to the Mill Colonnade, the hotel stands as a beacon of relaxation and rejuvenation. This destination is famed for its Karlovy Vary drinking therapy and 12 mineral springs, boasting temperatures ranging from 30° to 72°C. These springs are utilised for drinking therapies, baths, and irrigations, offering a unique wellness experience.
Dining & Leisure
The hotel offers a sumptuous breakfast buffet as well as lunch and dinner in buffet style, with water and coffee/tea included in the price. Special dietary needs are catered for, including diet, lactose-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian dishes. Upon request, separation and reduction diets are also available. Additionally, a tea room is available where guests can sample various types of tea from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wellness & Spa
The wellness centre is open daily from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. It features an indoor pool (approximately 8 x 4 m) with a counter-current system, massage jets, and a floor whirlpool. Additionally, there is a Finnish sauna, an aroma sauna, a steam bath, three sensorial showers, and a Kneipp path. For relaxation, three rest rooms are available, each equipped with a tea maker.
Health & Treatments
The Medical Spa is available from Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is led by a team of doctors and therapists, including a dietitian. It offers a variety of therapy treatments, including some with thermal water such as underwater massages, CO2 baths, parafango, lymphatic drainage, hydrojet and salt therapies, inhalations, electrotherapies, and medicinal gas injections. Additional services include therapeutic exercise, Gerovital treatments, wellness massages, and drinking cures.
Indications: Digestive tract diseases, musculoskeletal disorders. Periodontitis, diabetes mellitus, gout, obesity. Elevated cholesterol levels, exhaustion.
Free Time
The area surrounding the hotel is perfect for leisurely walks. Visit the Becherovka Museum for a liqueur tasting or take advantage of the numerous shopping opportunities and cafes. Annual events such as the Music Summer in June (featuring Mozart and Karlovy Vary), the International Film Festival, the Beethoven Days in August, and Dvorak's Karlovy Vary Autumn in September (an international folklore festival) offer a rich cultural diversity. In October, the International Jazz Festival takes place. Excursion destinations include Loket Castle and the Porcelain and Glass Museum. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 18-hole Karlovy Vary Golf Club, the Cihelny Golf Club (about 4 miles away), and the Marianske Lazne Golf Club (about 25 miles away).

The rooms were in a very clean, modern condition with very good facilities. The treatments were great, we are very relaxed and feel much better. The location itself was very well maintained and appealing, the time just flew by
