In the southwest of Sri Lanka, in the charming coastal town of Bentota, the boutique-style Amal Villa is located about 100 metres from the beach. The manageable size of the hotel ensures highly personalised service, and the beautiful nature and sea breeze will quickly make you forget the stress of everyday life. Another highlight is the Amal Villa's infinity pool, which is among the largest in Bentota. Amal Villa is ideal for couples where one person wishes to undergo an Ayurveda treatment and the other travels as a companion without treatment.

Once you cross Galle Road, you'll reach our sister hotel, Amal Beach Hotel. Here, you can discover the 'Amal Restaurant', renowned for its exquisite seafood specialties (at an additional cost), where you can enjoy your lunch and dinner as a 3-course set menu. Breakfast is served at your preferred time on your room's terrace. The open-air restaurant with sea view at the sister hotel is also open to non-residents and serves across two floors, in the garden, and on the beach. Ingredients for the Sinhalese, Indian, and international menus and à la carte dishes are sourced from local markets and fresh from local fishermen. A candlelight dinner on the beach is also possible once a week (included for stays of 14 nights or more). For Ayurveda guests, meals are individually prepared according to the doctor's specifications.

At the Amal Ayurvedic, SPA & Yoga Center, constructed from clay, with 2 Ayurveda doctors and an experienced team of therapists, there are 4 treatment rooms available for your daily Ayurvedic treatments. Alternatively, treatments can also be enjoyed outdoors with views of ponds and rice fields. Offerings include various massages (herbal oil, powder, thermo, intensive, synchronised), sinus cleansing (Nasya), oil forehead pouring (Shirodhara), inhalation, acupuncture, and Ayurvedic sauna. Yoga and meditation are included for therapy guests, while a fee applies for stays without therapy. Manicure and pedicure are also available for an additional charge. A bathrobe and disposable underwear are provided for your Ayurveda therapy.

The infinity pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, and the garden with its breathtaking birdlife, are perfect for your relaxation breaks between and after treatments (please avoid direct sunlight). Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are also available at the fine, long sandy beach, which is ideal for beach walks - a dream at sunset! On the ground floor of the villa, there is a small library with German books and board games. Other leisure activities (at an additional cost) include shopping trips to Bentota (by Tuk Tuk, at an additional cost), cooking classes, boat trips on the Bentota River, water skiing, parasailing, or exciting excursions to the Sinharaja Rainforest, Udawalawe National Park, or Galle.
